Hello, I’m Dr. Winston P. Shaeffer. I’ve had the privilege of working as a family dentist for over 20 years, and I feel grateful to be able to support patients and families in caring for their smiles. It’s important to me that everyone feels at ease, well-informed, and cared for throughout their dental experience.
Whether it’s a child’s first visit or someone looking to improve or restore their smile, I strive to offer thoughtful care in a welcoming environment.

I recently moved to Jacksonville and needed to find a new dentist. After a thorough Google search, I discovered Greenland Dentistry and decided to give it a try due to its excellent reviews. I was fortunate to find such an outstanding dentist office on my first attempt. Here are the highlights of my visit:
1. The office and dental rooms are updated and aesthetically pleasing.
2. I received the most thorough and effective teeth cleaning I've ever had.
3. Dr. Shaeffer is genuinely friendly and didn't try to diagnose issues that weren't there.
4. The staff was so polite and nice. They made me feel right at home.
Overall, my initial experience at Greenland Dentistry was exceptional, and I look forward to continuing my dental care with them.
I can go on and on about Dr. Winston Shaeffer and his dental office. First, his remodeled dental office is immaculate! When you walk in, it’s an inviting and warm space that doesn’t feel like a dental practice. Instead it feels like you are entering a boutique hotel. It’s beautiful, pristine, and calm, and it helps you get into a relaxed and comfortable state of mind. Second, the staff is amazing! They are very friendly, warm, and helpful. Last but not least, is Dr. Shaeffer himself. Of all the dentists I’ve gone through, I don’t think there is one that is as passionate, inviting, calm, friendly, gentle and honest as Dr. Shaeffer. He takes the time to listen to your dental needs and issues, and gives a truthful assessment of what you need and what you don’t need. I just recently had a tooth extraction, and he made it as zen of an experience as a tooth extraction could be. There was no pain, and it was very quick. It was so well done, that I’m just on the second day with no swelling or pain after the procedure. If you are looking for a dentist, Dr. Shaeffer is your dentist. I’ve recommended many friends and family to him throughout the years, and they were always delightfully surprised by their dental experience. Now who would of that that a dental experience could be a delight. Haha!

He’s kind, understanding, trustworthy, caring and extremely skilled. Virtuous in so many ways. Plus he’s a super cool guy! 100% of the time I’ve been both happy and impressed with the results and entire experience.
He loves what he does, and built an amazing space through his hard work to keep his patients happy and offer the best time they can while visiting.
The practice is the cleanest space I’ve ever seen and the staff he keeps is always fantastic, which he deserves. My forever Dentist!
